Save A Heart virtual gala to raise funds for congenital heart research, family support at U-M Health Mott

Annual fundraiser to benefit critical congenital heart studies and families facing serious heart conditions.

The Congenital Heart Center at University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital will host this year’s Save A Heart gala virtually on Saturday, Feb.26.

The virtual event will feature live and silent auctions, inspiring patient stores, and a theme of denim-and-diamonds. The annual event is in its 29th year of raising funds to support congenital heart research and families of children with life-threatening heart conditions.

The virtual gala starts at 7 p.m. EST. Attendance is free, but registration is required at victors.us/umsaveaheart.

The Save A Heart fundraising campaign coincides with February’s American Heart Month and Congenital Heart Defect Awareness week. Proceeds enable research, drive development of new technologies and therapies, and provide social work and support programs to patients and families facing congenital heart conditions.

Attendees are encouraged to buy a meal or snacks from one of the restaurants and catering partners listed at victors.us/sah2022partners to support those who have made the gala such a meaningful and impactful event over the years.

In the absence of a cure for Alzheimer's disease, the primary cause of dementia, there's interest in understanding modifiable risk factors.
